Mold Allergy Symptoms And How They Can Affect You

Mold allergy symptoms might be the ones you're experiencing. Mold is possibly the main cause of allergic reactions in the world. Mold is everywhere, and we're increasing the problem. Each time that you take an antibacterial, you're opening free-reign to the fungi. They become excited. It's like the mold were kids and all the parents disappeared, as far as the fungus is concerned. Fungus is on peanuts, potatoes, carrots, or any other vegetable that grows near or under the ground.

Dust mite allergy symptoms tend to stay within the traditional thought of what 'allergies' are. You cough, you sneeze, your eyes itch. Those are typical symptoms the way most people view the word 'allergy'. However there are many kinds of allergic responses besides just sneezing. Headaches is one which are oftentimes is an allergic response mechanism.

Asthma is another major way that your body can respond to allergic entities. One strange allergy asthma treatment is called the Buteyko method. It consists of breathing less to reduce asthma breathing problems. There are exercises you learn which teach you to breathe less deeply; strange enough there is science which backs up this concept. When you breathe too fast, you let out too much carbon dioxide.

If your body gets depleted of carbon dioxide, it has harder times sending oxygen to your body. Thus, if you breathe too fast for too long, you lose the ability to take in oxygen. Everybody knows that if you 'hyperventilate', you start gasping. There is proof. You start breathing into a paper bag, which intensifies the carbon dioxide in your system, and the inability to breathe returns to normal. It has been found that people who experience asthma oftentimes are breathing rapidly without knowing it. However, oftentimes, mold allergy symptoms are one cause of asthma.

If you work in the health care industry, latex allergy symptoms sometimes will pop-up. Exposure to latex, which is a liquid which is taken from a South American tree, can cause itching and rashes. However, latex is in house paint, shoes, rubber bands, nearly everything that we call 'rubber'. Latex isn't a synthetic rubber. There are also rubbers that are made from butyl or petroleum; those aren't the same.

A major, and dangerous, allergic reaction can be gotten from black mold. What is called 'toxic mold allergy symptoms' come from exposure to mycotoxins. These put out substances which create havoc with the human nervous system. Pennicillin is one of those fungi. It used to be a fungus that was extremely rare, now¡ they say that if you put a piece of damp bread into the fridge, and you wait a couple days, and green mold appears¡ the chances are that it's penicillin. It's in our houses, it's in our refrigerators. It's not surprising that we're affected by mold allergy symptoms.

Stachybotrys is one which has caused people to sell everything they owned just to get away from it, finally. Sometimes called 'Sick House Syndrome', it's a problem. Stachbotrys is a mold which can grow on wet grain that's used in animal feed. The illnesses that occur when people are exposed to it can range from headaches to pain and other strange symptoms such as restless leg syndrome, where the legs twitch quite uncontrollably even if you're lying quietly. So, if you're having mold allergy symptoms, have your house tested for spores.
