Dog Allergy Symptoms Might Actually Be Animal DandruffIf you have a dog, and you start sneezing, you probably already know what dog allergy symptoms are. You're generally allergic to the dog's dandruff. Dogs have dandruff just like we do. Particularly if you gave antibiotics to your dog, they might come down with dandruff right after that happened. Dandruff is caused by a fungus which gets down into your pores and lives there. The irritation that results is what we call dandruff. (It's now called malassezia furfur, or the out-of-date name was Pityrosporum ovale). They're even treating dandruff with antifungal medications, now. Cat allergy symptoms are very similar. You might experience sneezing, hiccupping, coughing or you might have a constant stream of 'post-nasal drip' where slime flows down from the back of your nose; it's an annoying sensation. Food allergy symptoms can be diverse. If you get jittery feelings in your legs that are very annoying, that's called 'restless leg syndrome'. Its' oftentimes associated with food allergies. A wheat gluten allergy (the protein from wheat), pain can result. Oftentimes what seems to be an allergy to a particular food might really be an allergy to the fungi that sometimes live on that food. If, one time, you eat white flour and you get no pain in you upper back, and another time you eat the same thing and don't experience the pain¡ it's probably fungus that's the underlying problem. Wheat has an enormous surface area. If you throw wheat in the air and it disperses just right it can trigger a gigantic explosion. That's because wheat has a large surface area. All of the fungus that was on the surface of the wheat 'berry' is ground together and mixed into the flour. So, what fungi get mixed in with the wheat is always variable. In the case of dog allergy symptoms, for example, it's possible to be allergic to dog fur, also. It tends to be proteins that we get allergic to, and both hair and nails are packed with protein. Our immune systems become confused and confounded, and we suffer. If you take a microscope, then take a piece of Scotch tape and use it to take stuff of your mattress and pillow, then look at it¡ you might just find thousands of dust mites. Dust mites are actually quite big little monsters. If you look at photos, they look like they might have come off the moon. What are called 'dust mite allergy symptoms' generally have to do with the poop that the dust mite leave. If you have seasonal allergy symptoms, then taking over-the-counter medications for Allergies generally makes them go away. This is the one place where traditional doctors and pharmaceutical companies have done well. This is what most people call 'allergies'. Your eyes run, you sneeze, you cough, you raise phlegm¡ those are what are traditional allergy symptoms. A milk protein allergy is sometimes seen with infants, but can affect adults, too. It's when your body confuses a certain protein that's in milk with an invading organism. It's not attacking you, but try to tell that to your body; allergic reactions can be strange. Dog allergy symptoms, then, tend to be caused by animal dandruff. |
